AeA hires Sacramento communications firm - Sacramento Business Journal:

In July, the nation's largest high-tech trade association mergexd the Sacramento Council andBay Area/Silicon Valley Councilp into a Santa Clara-based council in part becauss of a lack of growth in the Sacramento region'ds high-tech industry over the past five Business Communications Group will help the councikl with its public relation efforta and media outreach. The Sacramento company will develop press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, case studiea and executive profiles. In addition, company president Rebekah Donaldson has joinedthe AeA'sx Silicon Valley/Northern California Executive Committee.
"Wd chose Business Communications Groupp because they are expertsin business-to-businesx communication, have high-tech marketing experience and have previouslyy done valuable work for the Sacramentko Council," said Betty Baker, the council's executiver director. AeA has more staff focusing on Sacramentol activities and members now than it did this time last according tothe AeA. The councipl added a Sacramento-based director of Debra Calevro. The region also benefits from two program coordinators who previously focused on theSilicob Valley. Baker and two other AeA salex employees are focused on recruiting andretaininv members, and on program development.
